Job Overview

The Programme Management Specialist will work under the Senior Programme Manager to coordinate and oversee the implementation of UNOPS projects in Thailand and the wider region. The role involves managing partner relationships, tracking fund performance, and improving project maturity and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support coordination across the Fund and assist with action tracking, donor reporting, and KPI analysis
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and information systems for programme management
  • Support strategy, policy, and operational planning across projects
  • Facilitate coordination between the Fund Management Office, Project Management Office, and Support Services Unit
  • Evaluate project proposals, budgets, and implementation plans
  • Monitor project performance, conduct field visits, and provide feedback and recommendations
  • Support institutional development of partners through capacity assessments and improvement plans
  • Ensure alignment with strategic priorities such as gender, conflict sensitivity, localization, and risk management
  • Lead project maturity initiatives (e.g., P3M3), training, and knowledge sharing across partners

Qualification

  • Strong skills in programme management, donor relations, and stakeholder coordination
  • Technical knowledge in finance, HR, procurement, and monitoring & evaluation systems
  • Capacity to lead capacity building efforts and support institutional strengthening
  • Analytical ability for data interpretation, reporting, and decision-making
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to work in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
