Role Description
Primary Responsibilities
Under overall supervision program manager (OD) and in collaboration with other team members, this position will
- Support the partners in conducting organizational capacity development and network activities for LEARN consortium and partner organizations.
- Conduct and facilitate organizational capacity assessment and network capacity assessment for partner organizations.
- Facilitate training and workshops for civil society organizations’ capacity strengthening related to Organizational Capacity Development interventions and Network Capacity Strengthening Interventions.
- Take part in designing, delivering and improving the Organizational Capacity Development Plan for all LEARN projects and programs.
- Collect and update data for organizational capacity development tracking sheets for partner organizations.
- Maintain regular communication with partner organizations to investigate the needs to provide interventions related to organizational capacity development.
- Lead the tracking process of each organization’s capacity development activities on a regular basis to build an OD database system.
- Proof-read training, workshop reports and meeting reports.
- Assist program manager in developing strategies and data analysis for organizational development and network interventions.
- Facilitate relevant stakeholder engagement workshops within LEARN and partner organizations.
- Mentoring and coaching the local partners for the intervened capacity areas.
- Identifying needs for the conducted training or workshops and working with the team to utilize those needs for the local partners.
- Support all administrative and financial tasks related to the project according to organizational policies.
- Assist to facilitate in-house workshops and meetings as needed.
- Ensure preparation and submission of timely reports related to assigned activities.
- Communicate closely with LEARN program teams and other departments for required operations.
- Other tasks as delegated/assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
- University graduate; preferably with a graduate degree in Organizational Development/ Organizational Behavior/ Business Administration
- Fluent in written and spoken Burmese, fluent in written English
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, as well as understanding of word-processing, and PowerPoint. Must be advanced with online platforms such as Zoom Webinar.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Highly organized and ability to work independently and make decisions quickly
- Ability to collaborate professionally with culturally diverse colleagues
- Develop and maintain comprehensive employee skills and knowledge database
- Coordinate the talent mobility and secondments.
- Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge of trends and best practices in organizational development and learning & development
- Experience working on OCD-related projects or programs in South East
