After nearly two decades working in and around the NGO sector in Thailand, we saw how difficult it is for people to find meaningful, purpose-driven roles. The NGO job market is often hard to navigate, with opportunities scattered across Facebook pages, buried on organizational websites that are often inactive or not optimized for search, or lost within commercial job boards where NGO positions get mixed with unrelated listings. This makes the job search frustrating and time-consuming, while NGOs struggle to find candidates who truly share their values. Many rely on mainstream platforms not designed for the NGO sector, which further buries meaningful roles. We did not just notice this problem; we lived it both as job seekers and through close work with organizations trying to hire.
That is why we created NGO Thai, a platform built with care and clarity where mission-driven professionals and organizations can connect easily. Our goal is to empower the NGO ecosystem by making hiring simpler, more transparent, and more human. NGO Thai is more than a job board; it is a movement to bring visibility, structure, and heart to NGO recruitment in Thailand. Because when the right people connect with the right missions, real change happens.
